Diva Challenge # 186 – Falling leaves

Hi everyone!

Well, fall is finally here! 😉 The kids and I have been collecting beautiful red autumn leaves for the last 2 weeks -they’re all over our house! Also, I’ve been experimenting with watercolors for the first time in my life (not counting the terrible quality ones we used at school) and found a tutorial on the internet about painting leaves with watercolors.

CASSIOPEIA – A New Tangle Pattern Or “There are no mistakes”

Dear Tanglers,

I have the great honor today of presenting a new tangle pattern, designed by one of my students, Monique Leschner.

In every Zentangle class I tell my students that when you’re tangling there are no mistakes. Like in real life, you can’t undo things, but you can build on them and see where they lead you. How to create beautiful color transitions with Gelly Roll gel pens

Dear Tanglers,

a little while ago I told you about all the great things my aunt brought with her from the States for me. Among other things, there was a box of 64 Gelly Roll gel pens. I love those things, I really do! Not only can you write or tangle with them, but you can also create beautiful color transitions that look great in your tangles!

Today I would like to show, how to create these transitions. Here you can see a tile that I did during my last advanced class (we were trying to combine patterns).
