Dear Tanglers!!

So my aunt and uncle from the States were here for a brief visit last week. And same as last time – I was sick! But besides that litte drawback it was a bit like Christmas, as my aunt brought me all theses Zentangley goodies:

In the picture from left to right are almost $200 worth of fabulous things: a Gelli Plate (for easy and fun printing), 100 sheets of protective sleeves that fit 6 Zentangle tiles each (or twelve, if you use the back, too), a box of 64 different GellyRoll pens (!), a set of Koi Watercolor Brush Pens, and a bunch of magnetic picture frames that will fit a tile perfectly (for my fridge)!

I am in Zentangle heaven!! And I’ll certainly let you share in what I’ll be doing with this fabulous stuff. But I’ll give you a hint right now: It IS possible to do nice color tiles!!

Letzte Woche waren meine Tante und mein Onkel aus den USA zu Besuch – und genau wie letztes Mal war ich auch dieses Mal wieder krank. Verteufelt aber auch! Trotzdem war der Besuch für mich ein bisschen wie Weihnachten, da meine Tante mir all diese wunderbaren zentanglistischen Goodies mitgebracht hat:

In diesem Bild seht ihr von links nach rechts fast $200 an tollen Dingen: ein Gelli Plate (um ganz leicht fantastische Drucke herzustellen), 100 Klarsichthüllen, die jeweils sechs 9 x 9 cm große Öffnungen haben, in die – ihr werdet’s schon erkannt haben – jeweils genau eine Zentangle-Kachel passt (und somit gehören meine Archivierungsprobleme der Vergangenheit an). Weiterhin eine große Box mit 64 GellyRoll Stiften (Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), ein Satz Koi Watercolor Brush Pens (fantastico!) und ein paar magnetische Bilderrahmen, die auch genau für eine Zenatangle-Kachel passend sind (Kühlschrank – ich komme!!).

Ich glaube ich bin im Zentangle-Himmel!! Und ich werde euch auf jeden Fall auf dem Laufenden halten, was ich mit diesen Produkten alles anstelle. So viel sei schon einmal verraten: Kacheln mit Farbe sind doch möglich!!!
