Der Frühling naht in großen Schritten. Die Bäume werden langsam grün, überall blühen bunte Blumen und gestern habe ich doch tatsächlich den ersten Schmetterling gesehen. Höchste Zeit, meine super-duper Zentangle^®-Tasche endlich mal zu betangeln, und zwar mit einem schönen Frühlingsmotiv!

Und so geht’s:

Ich habe mir einfach im Internet eine schöne Schmetterlingsform gesucht, vergrößert und ausgeschnitten. Diese habe ich dann auf die Tasche gelegt und drumherum gemalt. Die Tangles habe ich mit dem IDenti_TMPen von Sakura gemalt und schattiert mit Fabrico #181, einem grauen Stoffmalstift.

Auf Stoff Tangeln ist immer eine tolle Sache. Es ist zwar einerseits schwieriger, da der Stoff ja kleine glatte Oberfläche hat. Andererseits ist man aber genau deshalb gezwungen, so langsam zu arbeiten, dass die Muster (zumindest bei mir) viel exakter und schöner werden.

Spring is finally here! Everything is turning green, beautiful flowers are everywhere and yesterday I saw the first butterfly. The perfect time to decorate my fabulous Zentangle^® bag with a spring time motif.

This is how I did it:

I printed the outline of a butterfly I found on the internet and cut it out. Then I traced the outline onto the bag. The tangling was done with Sakura’s IDenti_TMPen and the shading is Fabrico #181, a gray fabric marker.

Tangling on fabric is always a great experience. It’s a bit more difficult, as the fabric has a rough surface, but that also means that you have to work extra slowly. And that’s why (at least for me) the patterns turn out extra beautiful and exact.
